Sea turtles are gravely threatened by commercial, cultural and individual human practices around the world, as are many marine animals.  The well-being of sea turtles illustrates the health of the oceans, and ultimately, of all life on earth.

Turtle Island Restoration Network engages people to take action, through hands-on conservation and policy change campaigns that protect endangered sea turtles and other marine species, save critical ecosystems, encourage government action and corporate responsibility.  Turtle Island mobilizes people to restore oceans, preserve rivers and streams and protect the marine animals that call these blue-green waters home.
