Issue

On many farms across the United States animals are raised in the most inhumane conditions.  They are packed into tiny spaces no fresh air and no natural light by the thousands and raised in gestation crates, wire cages with wire floors and other atrocious methods of confinement.

Compassion Over Killing has been working on behalf of animals and promoting responsible treatment of animals since 1995.  COK focuses on cruelty to animals in agriculture and promotes vegetarian eating as a way to build a kinder world for all of us, both human and nonhuman.
