Elephants across Africa are in grave danger. These highly intelligent, sophisticated, long-lived animals not only suffer from human encroachment and a lack of sufficient space to live but the imminent threat of poachers coming after their ivory tusks.
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is working to preserve elephant populations, advocate on their behalf and protect this fragile species from the black market ivory trade through their anti-poaching efforts.
