Issue

Whales, and other marine mammals, are gravely threatened by industrial fishing around the globe.  In California waters, which should be a safe haven for these gentle giants, the California Drift Gillnet Fishery has caught and killed more marine mammals than all the other commercial fishers on the west coast combined over the past decade.  The well-being of whales is directly linked to the well-being and future of all life on earth.
