Homeless dogs in Thailand face a cruel and harsh reality of abuse, disease, starvation and neglect. Those that are lucky enough to beat the odds and survive on the streets are at high risk of being absorbed into the illegal dog meat trade with neighboring countries where they face a torturous end to their lives. Crammed into small wire cages with other dogs and no room to move the dogs are brought to market where they are brutally slaughtered in front of one another.

Soi Dog aims to help the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand by setting an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering programs. Soi Dog works to improve the lives and living conditions of those stray dogs and cats by providing food, shelter, veterinary care, a chance to find a forever home and lots and lots of love.
